Our price: $16.50
Chunky and fun, the ergonomically superior Lyra Ferby colored pencils are vibrant, apply smoothly, and blend well. Lasting 3-4 times longer than standard colored pencils, so there is less frequent sharpening, the super thick, 6.25mm cores are break-resistant and made from highly-pigmented, natural waxes.
A favorite writing tool of occupational therapists, the sturdy fat profile of the Lyra Ferby pencils makes them especially fitting for smaller children or left-handers. This ideal beginner’s pencil, with its triangular shape is comfortable to hold and less tiring to use.
Love that these are triangular. High quality colored pencils with thick lead. The only way they would be better is if they had an eraser/were erasable.
I hadn't planned to buy pencil crayons because I thought that would just be a silly extra, but I was growing tired and frustrated with pencil crayons that get broken inside from being banged or dropped. Then when you sharpen them and the tip just falls off because it's already broken! These pencil crayons don't have that problem and have been great for my 2, 4 and 6 year old and the quality of how they apply when colored is amazing. My kids took them with them to their grandparents and my in laws were asking where I got them because they wanted a set of their own!
Hello, new favorite pencils!!! A few months ago, I purchased a box of miniature colored pencils at an art store, knowing my daughter was losing interest in crayons. They broke just about every time she used or sharpened them. Then these arrived. Cue hallelujah chorus. So sturdy and long lasting. The perfect size for small hands to hold and the colors are amazing! My daughter loves them. She pretty much does all of her schoolwork in colored pencil. I think I'm going to start calling my reviews winning with Timberdoodle. :)
Okay, so I realize that sounds weird but the moment you take them out of the box you smell the woody deliciousness! They feel really nice in your hands, and my 5 year old has been enjoying all the colors. I was hoping that the bumps and thickness of these pencils would help to correct his pencil grip, but we ended up needing to purchase some pencil grips to go with his erasable pencils. However, we still use these everyday for projects and coloring.
We’ve used them a lot but not something I needed to spend on.
