About 4-D Puzzles:
Enthusiasts of these startlingly lifelike puzzles are multiplying rapidly, and it is no wonder why. These ingenious, museum-quality puzzles have been highly recognized for their authenticated look, meticulous finishing, and fastidious painting.
Marketed as 4-D Puzzles, the fourth "D" denoting the "detailed" aspect to the three-dimensional puzzles, not only is the company undergoing exponential growth, but so are the knockoffs. Don't settle for the cheaper versions, they will cause your child nothing but grief.
Each one of these puzzles can be put together and pulled back apart countless times, which is perfect for families with many children. They do contain small parts that can be a choking hazard for younger children, but children six years and older will spend hours learning while doing.

Not impressed by it, my son doesn't even pay attention to it after he put it together
This is a neat extra thing but it is difficult to fit together all the way.
Very fun, and very well made. It is nice to have something hands on that the kids can take apart and see the individual parts of the plant cell.
This is a nice thought as an addition to the curriculum and something nice to have. That said, like another reviewer mentioned, we didn't use it much. I kept waiting for the part where we talked more about plant cells, and that part never seemed to come. We eventually put it together, but the side pieces constantly want to pop off, the front cover won't stay on, and there is no way to attach it to the stand so it easily can get knocked off. (The index shows that cells are mentioned on two pages: 88 & 109. Neither of those pages really talk about all of the different parts of plant cells and what their functions are.)
But still great! This came in our First Grade Bundle, to coincide with our Apologia Botany curriculum. I think when kids can see/feel/touch something, it will stick in their brains for so much longer. I thought this product was very well made and very well executed! That being said, we haven't used it very much. But I'm not ready to part with it yet, as I think it'll be a great resource for years to come.
