Our 7th grader has been interested in design and architecture from a very young age and has actually designed some of our building projects, so was really excited to see this would feed that passion and is part of new homeschooling curriculum.
This is a great intro to architecture and helps kids flesh out their ideas. A good book for middle school and up.
My kiddo loves the doodle books that Timberdoodle supplies with their programs, and this one does not disappoint. Its the one thing I know will get down everyday without being asked. Love that!!
My 11 yr old son absolutely loved this book! He loves architecture and this is a good start in the morning before he dives in to the rest of school for the day!
When still homeschooling, my 9th grade son wanted it. I thought it could be part of art as a fun interest. Each page has a picture sketched on it that is supposed to be completed. He looked through it and liked it but never did use it. I guess it did not grab his attention enough. To test this, I removed it from his room where it has lived for the past year; he hasn't noticed yet and its been about 2 weeks.
