Preschoolers are fascinated by their bodies, so now is a great time to introduce them not only to an overview of how their bodies function, but also how to take care of them. With oversized, sturdy tabs to push and pull, Body will give your child an overview about his senses, feelings, bones, healthy eating, appropriate toileting hygiene (handled with total discretion), what to expect at the doctor, and more. Painted with broad strokes, Body will give your preschooler just the right amount of age-appropriate information about this captivating topic.

This board book is cute. The illustrations are not too busy or chaotic. It is perfect for very young children, as the pull tabs are very sturdy, and can withstand the tugging of most 2-4 year-olds.
The information is simplistic and basic, but it is a great stepping stone to books with greater detail and information.
My boys are 2 and enjoy this book. It's super, super basic but it brushes over a variety of topics - from food, bathing, going to the doctor, feelings and senses. It's perfect for them and they choose to read it fairly often. They like the pull tabs although I wish those were a bit sturdier as one has already got a bit bent- but that's to be expected with toddlers and pull tabs or flap books in my opinion.
Not our favorite after the novelty of the flaps wore off. Not that informative for my little guy. Would have preferred a nature study (to get us out of the house) or other science materials.
I love the idea of this book, but I do wish it had some more details in it such as that they should eat more fruits and vegetables than sugar. All it says that they should eat different foods, but I think they can handle a little more detail for the parents to build off of. It has helped with bed time, bath time, and doctors visits though. I just have to remind her of the book and why we do it and she seems to understand that I am not just being mean but it is a part of taking care of her body so she doesn't get sick.
I was very excited about this book. We got this and it felt all over the place and really didn't have a lot to it. We don't grab for it or really enjoy it.
