What is shipping protection?

Shipping protection is an optional service that you can add at checkout. If there is an issue with an order, Timberdoodle will always be happy to work with you and find a resolution. Offering shipping protection is a way to streamline the claims process.

How much does it cost?

Shipping protection is calculated at roughly 3% of your product total. For example, if the items you buy add up to $100, shipping protection will cost $3.00. You will see this added to your order in the checkout during the shipping method section.

What does it cover?

Lost, damaged, or stolen packages. If there is any issue with the delivery of your order, just let us know. Again, Timberdoodle will always be happy to help if there is an issue with an order. Shipping Protection is simply an optional way to help streamline the process.

Does my order qualify for shipping protection?

Most online orders shipping to the US will qualify for shipping protection. Shipping protection is not available for international orders.

What if I want Shipping Protection but can't see it?

Shipping protection is added during checkout. If you're using a scholarship that doesn't go through our typical checkout, you will need to click the regular checkout button. Enter our address and go to Step 2. Shipping protection will automatically be added. You can then return to your cart and use your regular checkout button.

Help! I can't remove Shipping Protection from my cart!

No problem! Because shipping protection is added in checkout, it needs to be removed there as well. Click the checkout button, navigate to step 2, then click the little toggle to turn off shipping protection. It will be removed from your order. You can proceed through checkout or go back to shopping.
