Returns

How do I return an item?

Your order has been thoroughly inspected and carefully packed, and we hope your family is delighted with our unique products. However, being realists we know that occasionally returns have to be made. We will gladly accept returns within 30 days after the date your order ships.

Please note that discontinued products or products discounted as closeout items or as part of our damaged sales are non-returnable. Also, see notes below regarding specific products with exceptions to our normal return policy. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover the costs Timberdoodle has paid on your behalf, including the 3% processing fee and the item's original shipping costs.

If you need to make a return, just follow these five easy steps...

1. Check that the item is still in new condition. (Opened shrink wrap is fine, but no scratched CDs or marred books, and no books that have been written in. Returns that arrive here damaged will not receive a full refund.)

2. Fill out the return form completely. You can download the return form here. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email or call us.

3. Pack the items with the paperwork in a sturdy shipping box, not an envelope. Again, items that arrive here damaged will not receive a full refund, so pack your return carefully.

4. Address your package to our returns department at the address below:

5. Ship the items to us within 30 days of the date your order shipped. Since the cost of shipping the return is your responsibility you can choose the shipping method. Once you ship the package, please allow up to 6 weeks for processing your return. For higher-cost items, we encourage insuring your package.

In the case of an exchange, you may note the item you would like to exchange your return for on your return form. If there is a difference in cost, we will contact you for the additional payment (if there is a balance due) or refund you the balance (if there is a left-over balance).

You may refuse delivery of your shipment after ordering from Timberdoodle. If you use this option, we reserve the right to deduct the additional shipping charges from your return.

Is there a problem with an item?

We love getting curriculum to you in a pristine condition that makes you dance with delight! However, many of our products have packaging designed to catch your eye in stores rather than for long-term storage. Given that these items travel cross-country twice–first to our warehouse, then to you–some can arrive with mild cosmetic damage. While we do not guarantee perfection, if the damage inhibits the product's intended use, please let us know so we can make it right. Likewise, if you did not receive what you ordered, please contact us immediately. Please do not return damaged, defective, or mis-shipped products without contacting us first! You may email us anytime at customerservice@timberdoodle.com or phone one of our friendly customer service representatives at 800-478-0672 between 8 am and 4 pm, Pacific Time, on weekdays.

Note:

Bundled items such as our Complete Curriculum kits receive a discount based on purchasing the entire bundle. If you find you need to return part of the bundle, please know that we will have to recalculate your order total without the bundle discount, and you may not receive the entire refund you anticipated. (For instance, let's say you purchased a bundle of 10 books which usually sell at $10 each but since you purchased them as a bundle, you only paid $75. If then you return 4 of them, you will receive a refund of $15. You are left having paid $10 each for the 6 books you kept.) If you have any questions about that or would like to know exactly what the refund would be in your case, please feel free to contact us by email, phone, or chat with your order number, and we will figure it out before you pay to ship the item back to us.

Online product subscriptions generally have a strictly limited time in which the subscription can be canceled and refunded, depending on the publisher's policy. Please check the details on the product page or contact our customer service team with any questions.

All lab kits are non-returnable.

Kore Kids Sit-Stand Mobile Desk is drop-shipped from the manufacturer, and is non-returnable.

Veer Cruiser and Veer Cruiser XL , as well as their accessories, are drop-shipped from the manufacturer, and are non-refundable.

Jungle Jumparoo is subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover repacking of the unit, as once it has shipped the box integrity for the 95 lb package has been compromised.

Zoola products have a 14-day return policy, and all returns require a Return Authorization. Please contact us for details.

The ARIS Curriculum ships directly from the publisher and must be returned to them in saleable condition within 60 days of the ship date. If you have an ARIS Curriculum you would like to return, please contact us and we will be happy to send you more information.

Canceling an Order

Due to nonrefundable fees charged to us when processing payments, there will be a cancellation fee for canceling your order. Cancellation fees reflect the nonrefundable fees we are charged and are 3% of the order total. If you simply need to update your order, please let us know ASAP, and we will do what we can to help avoid those cancellation fees. Please note that orders cannot be canceled or revised once they are in our warehouse for packing and shipping.
