Djeco Funny Faces Modeling Dough
Add stripes to the zebra and dots to the ladybug in this latest art kit from Djeco. Children as young as two will have fun finishing these reusable silly pictures with the Djeco modeling dough. With four tubs of ultra-soft and non-staining dough, Funny Faces is a great introduction to modeling with a purpose for preschoolers.

The remarkable step-by-step color booklet in this whimsical kit will guide your young child bit by bit through the creation of eight simple, three-dimensional animals. And because the boards are laminated, he can practice these skills over and over again. Everything your child needs is included.

We have really enjoyed this dough, and especially the mats. They offer a more focused task for my 2 1/2 year old daughter to complete, which keeps her attention for longer than typical play dough activities. She usually completes about 3 of the mats in one sitting. I do like the dough that comes with it, but fully expect to continue using these mats even after the dough dries out.

Fun Art

My daughter loves this art kit, and she played with it for a long stretches of time. I did 4 stars because it dried out after a few uses, and I didn't like the smell.

I like the idea of teaching about making balls and snakes with the dough to practice fine motor skills, however my 3 year old son is not very interested. I have to prompt him to make those when he’d rather be stomping toy dinosaur footprints in the dough. FYI It’s also a very strong smelling dough (which is not that big of a deal to us).

This was perfect for us, she got to use her hands, be creative, and learn some more advanced motor skills. She loved the fact that you can take the dough off the cards and try again (she is a little perfectionist like her mother lol) and loved watching her try to create the shapes she wanted from the dough. It is so simple for us adults that I forgot how much thought it would take to get it all to work. All in all it is a great product that is both fun and educational!

I would skip these and just get play dough and mats. My kits lost interest in less then 5 minutes.
