Timberdoodle's Review
I Can Doodle Rhymes
Wow, a lot of critical skills have been packed into I Can Doodle Rhymes! Handwriting, spelling, and even doodling – the perfect balance between structure and imagination – are built on and expanded in this happy, colorful volume.

Each I Can Doodle Rhymes spread offers two pages of corresponding activities. For example, a left page coaches your child to write the words pup and cup, and the right page asks him to doodle a pup on a cup and then a cup on a pup. In this way reading, handwriting, and spelling skills are reinforced throughout. Using simple, cartoon-style drawings to serve as models for budding artists, this ingenious combo of comical drawing lessons and rhyme ensures fun, stress-free learning.

Based on 42 reviews

My five year old loves it. Not very much on each page , she is flying through it, but it is a fun way to learn spelling.

Re-purchase worthy!

We've bought this book twice, once for my daughter when she was young and again now for my four year old. It's just the right amount of writing for a new writer and provides a great opportunity for creativity with the drawing. The rhyming component is a great language reinforcement.

Fun rhymes

This book was great at encouraging spelling, art, and rhyming. My 4 year old likes to make up different rhymes to go with the different pages.

Not Super Impressed

This book is kind of boring even though my kids love to color and draw.

Love it!

This is a must have in our opinion. It helps our little one work on drawing, printing and filling in the blanks. Its a great conversation starter and she is always wanting to do more lessons then what is assigned.
