Write and Draw Your Own Comics
Learn how to create characters, think up story ideas, write dialog, use sound effects, and draw action and emotions with Write and Draw Your Own Comics. Creating comics is not only one of the best ways to encourage creative writing, but this technique can also be used to recount a history lesson, illustrate a scientific principle, or to explain current events. Using simple step-by-step instructions, practical tips, and handy hints this exciting activity book will show your child how to create imaginative graphic stories. The spiral-bound "lay-flat" presentation is full of brilliant advice, and even includes over 130 cartoon-style stickers for your child to add to his creations. For the child who loves to tell stories but favors the graphic over the words, Write and Draw Your Own Comics will help them develop skills that may prove to be useful for a lifetime.

Great gift.

Gifted to my manga and comic book loving daughter to support her in developing her own. She loves it.

Elizabeth B.

My daughter loves the comic book ideas to help her create a story and being able to draw the pictures.

Fun book

My 8yo soon was very excited about this book. I think he will come back to it regularly throughout the year. It would be a fun way to do a final book report for an older student (with a little guidance in planning).
