Non-Religious 2019 First-Grade Curriculum Kit
This year you will love helping your child become a competent reader, budding mathematician, and a thinking, eager learner. He will study the five core science disciplines, learn about ancient times, and build his first robot. With creative art, hands-on logic, and a construction program that develops visual perception and creative thinking, this year will be a year packed with happy memories for both of you!
We asked parents who used our Non-Religious First-Grade Kit how long their student spent on "school." Nearly all of them estimated that they spent 2-4 hours a day on their kit, for 4-5 days a week. You’ll be able to plan yours to work best for you with your access to the online Timberdoodle Scheduler, included with your kit. Make sure you allow yourself and your child some time to find your own rhythm!

Absolutely love this curriculum. It’s challenging, engaging, fun, and easy to teach. Highly recommend timberdoodle for homeschooling. We will continue to use Timberdoodle while homeschooling.
The first grade curriculum is exactly what my daughter needed. It is the perfect balance between written book work and hands on learning. The program is engaging and makes learning so much fun!
I love how comprehensive it is. I don't feel I'm missing out on any subject and I really believe my twins are getting a well rounded education. The addition of all about reading was an amazing move. It's January and my twins went from slowly sounding out words at the start of the school year to fluently reading chapter books independently. Overall I think it's a great kit. I do, however, wish there was a handwriting option included in the kit. Especially cursive... My twins are anxious to start that up and I don't feel they are too young to start practicing neater handwriting.
Am just beginning to use if for my son Solomon. It appears easy to use and I think it will be of definite benefit to Solomon.
I love that the curriculum is fun and the subjects compliment each other. The curriculum is very high quality and has excellent content. I would love more art and puzzles. I actually supplemented the curriculum with a paint with sand and a mind benders puzzle book. I purchased both from Timberdoodle.
