I really like this twisty dropper for science experiments and water play with my 2 1/2 year old. It is much longer and more functional than the one that came with the science kit in the preschool curriculum. It is fun for her to watch colored water move through the twists of the dropper.
We really like these droppers and I pull them out for a variety of projects or mini-experiments or for even just adding a drop of water to our watercolor paints.
This is a lot harder for littles than I thought it would be! Great fine motor practice! Just added it to the science kit and use them together.
I never thought about how hard it would be to learn a skill like using a dropper. There is a lot of thought process that goes into it and this twisty dropper makes it fun to work on that simple skill. She loves using it in the bathtub or with her little science lab and it has even become a water gun more than once. It is a lot of fun!
This is perfect if you just want one dropper, which can be hard to find. These are a great size for toddler hands. It's a practical life lesson, ready for science and art work. It's great for grips. My toddler LOVES this and we can get tons of play time out of it. It is a real helper while I am cooking dinner to give my toddler some colored water and a dropper and a huge towel!
