Robotis PLAY 600 Pets
Now even children with emerging fine motor skills can experience the excitement of building their own robots with Robotis PLAY 600 Pets. Modeled after the smaller, more advanced Dream series, but with larger chunky pieces, the easy entry-level robotics kit Robotis PLAY 600 Pets introduces your children to the fundamentals of simple automation.
Robotis PLAY 600 Pets' step-by-step assembly instructions show your child how to build up to seven moving pet robots. Easy to assemble; no tools are required so imaginative scientists can expand on these ideas while exercising creativity and developing fine motor skills. What a great combination for learning science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Requires two AA batteries (not included). Recommended for ages 6 years and up, but we feel some 5-year-olds may be ready for this challenge.
Builds 1 model at a time.
Includes directions to build a Puppy, Bluebird, and Cricket in the box.

My son loves this
My 6 yo loves his robot! It’s so hard to find things like this for kids his age. His older brother gets to build all sorts of things so this was perfect!
He was able to build his first robot with minimal help while using the digital instructions and he enjoyed it so much that he rebuilt it into another and required no help from me.
He’s so proud of his work he is planning to enter it in the fair!
It was the independence he needed and it was educational!
We got this as a birthday present for my Lego-loving 6 year old who needed a new challenge. He was able to build the first model with very little help, and he really enjoyed using the app on our tablet to build the other animals. Even 9 months later, he still pulls the set out to re-build everything - now 100% on his own. Being the little inventor, he even makes up his own creations (monsters). The pieces assemble easily, and for the most part, the diagrams are pretty clear about what piece goes where. Very happy we purchased this.
I wanted to love this, but it fell short. My daughter struggled with placing things in there correct spot and couldn't get pieces off to correct it without help. And often more than one piece would come of and she would become frustrated. Also we were disappointed that we the instructions didn't include all seven models.
Challenging and engaging. My son has a blast with this.
