Timberdoodle's Review
Usborne Big Book of Things to Spot
Containing four titles in one volume, the Usborne Big Book of Things to Spot is the book to take along on a trip when you know there will be waits or delays. There is no end to what a toddler can learn from this impressive title that is crammed with over 4,000 things to spot on a farm, in the town, or pertaining to animals or history.

Discuss Numbers, Counting, Colors, Shapes, and Differences
While searching the colorful, beautifully-illustrated pages, your toddler will learn the names of both animals and objects. You will also discuss numbers, counting, colors, shapes, and differences. Just doing a page or two a day will enrich your toddler's vocabulary in a way that you both will find enjoyable. Usborne's Big Book of Things to Spot includes 1001 Animals to Spot, 1001 Things to Spot on the Farm, 1001 Things to Spot in the Town, and 1001 Things to Spot Long Ago, all in one volume.

You could also opt to use this as a consumable workbook, circling the items, or having your student circle the items, with a marker as he finds them. A younger preschooler may be at his best if you simply ask him to find one of each item instead of all the possibilities.

”This book has so many different things to find and is colorful. What I like is that it works counting skills, object recognition and we can talk about what’s going on in the pictures.”

Both my 3 year old and 5 year old still love this book.

They loved it and I did too! The illustrations are so colorful and beautiful, and they feel very accomplished when they find all the things on a page!

    Bedtime Read

My three-year-old loves this book before bedtime. It's a logic book but keeps him engaged. It includes number recognition.

    Good but not a favorite.

My son loves books and loves the spot it and wimmelbooks. I couldn't really say why, but this is not one of his favorites. It is a good book, just not a go to in our household.
