These books are great fir building a better vocabulary. Instead of memorizing many words, you just learn the root meaning. It makes figuring out meanings of words much easier. I’m hoping this will help my son with his sat’s in the future!
Our family loves the Word Roots books! It really helps my kids with their writing skills.
This year was the first year I've done any kind of word roots curriculum. It has been pretty neat learning where words come from & I have learned a lot of new words this year. At the end of each lesson you have to make up your own sentences with the words for the week and that's pretty fun & funny sometimes.
