Channie's Easy Peasy Alphabet
Many children quickly learn the mechanics of fashioning letters, but fail at consistent size and spacing of those. Channie's Easy Peasy Alphabet solves that for your beginning writers because it provides visual cues that emphasize uniform size and proper letter spacing. Easy Peasy Alphabet cues act as a form of self-correction for your child as he strives to keep his letters inside the designated grid.
Easy Peasy Alphabet solves not only the common problems of inconsistently sized letters, but also letters that are too wide or too narrow. Basic instructions are on the inside cover. 80 pages.

As a parent, I like the concept of this book, but my five year old saw it as drudgery. I decided to try the version for younger kids and it made all the difference. Coloring the pictures after tracing all the letters became an incentive for him to stay on task. I would prefer if the pages were perforated with the option of removing them or leaving them intact. As is, they simply fall out on their own.
I think using this book as improved my son's handwriting some, but not as much as it could have if it were a bit more engaging. It's is very repetitive, and there are no pictures or anything to break up the monotony. It's just straight up drill work. I find that my son hates doing it and therefore he rushes through it as fast as he can, which makes it less effective than I hoped.
We loved the first Channie's offered with the younger kit so decided to give this one a try too. It did not hold our little ones attention as well as the younger version. So we started having her work on only a few lines a day. She missed the pictures that came with the other book to color after she practiced her handwriting. Still a valuable item!
These have made a HUGE difference in our sons handwriting. They are now the only brand handwriting tablet I will be purchasing for our family!
It’s straight to the point and provides lots of practice but it’s pretty basic and honestly you could just buy lined paper and it seems like it would be the same thing.
