Learning Resources Primary Science Kit
We were smitten the first time we saw Learning Resources Primary Science Kit, and apparently we weren't the only ones. Winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio 2010 Gold Seal Award, Primary Science Kit is a collection of ten durable, plastic, easy-to-grip replicas of real-life science-lab tools.

Preschooler-Sized Lab Tools
Sized just right for smaller, clumsier hands, this award-winning collection is not just for play. Each chunky tool actually works; tiny bugs are magnified, measurement markers are accurate, and the sturdy tweezers add a dimension that less extensive sets leave out.

Ten Easy-to-follow Experiments
The ten colorful, double-sided activity cards encourage scientific inquiry and curiosity. Your children will have a blast pouring, mixing, combining, and measuring their concoctions.

Includes:
Learning Resources Primary Science Kit includes a durable, unbreakable beaker; a magnifying glass; a funnel; an eyedropper; a flask; tweezers; goggles; a large 6" test tube and stand; two small test tubes with lids and stand; plus activity cards. This is the perfect science kit for preschoolers!

From the Manufacturer:
Perfectly sized science tools support early hands-on science investigations. Durable pieces feature measurement markings. Activity cards introduce science process skills, living and nonliving things, physical science, senses and more.

Useful and fun for hours -Learning Resource's Primary Science Kit

The Learning Resource's Primary Science Kit is a fantastic starter lab science kit for young students ages 4 & up with supervision. Our 9 year old used it for lab science experiments & projects this year so we have got over three grade levels of use from it going into next year. It is a good assortment of tools and lab equipment including : 1 Beaker, Magnifying glass, Funnel, Eyedropper, Flask, Tweezers, Goggles, 1 Large 6' test tube (with lid and stand), 2 Small test tubes (with lids and a stand), 10 activity cards. It is safe for kids and has no glass or breakable flimsy pieces and are the right size for smaller hands. There are accurate measurements marked on the beaker and it makes for a fun lab/STEM class. There is a lot of things that can be done with this kit to learn about science, chemistry, beginning safety & lab techniques, observation and motor skills to name a few. I recommend this kit. It got a lot of use in our home school environment.

Good kit but

Good kit, but I hate that it is missing stuff. I like that I can keep redoing the experiments, because it is basically tools and instructions.

My Husband Loves Doing These Experiments With Our Son

My son loves playing with this and the color tablets. At 3-years-old he could spend about half an hour playing by himself mixing and pouring while I cooked. His father also really liked the simple experiments and started doing these with him whenever they had focused time together.

Favorite part of the day!

This is my 3 year old's favorite part of the day! When I tell her to grab her science kit, she just beams! It is fun and a great introduction to science! There is little prep for the parents as most, if not all, of the extra items needed could be found easily in our home.
