Kumon My Book of Mazes: Animals
What child doesn't love the challenge of mazes? Mazes allow your child the opportunity to practice basic pencil control in an enjoyable, exciting way. These pencil skills are necessary for the legible writing of letters and numbers. Plus because mazes are naturally absorbing they help your child acquire the ability to reason, interpret, understand and concentrate. These elemental skills are some of the bedrock essentials for later academics.
My son loves this. I pull this out for special days. Otherwise he would do the whole book in one sitting. Perfect for busy work.
My four year old son loved this book and now loves all maze books! It helped tremendously with his fine motor skills and preparing him to write, as I used the opportunity to teach him how to hold his pen correctly.
My five year old can't get enough of these Maze books. They're just challenging enough with different themes and pictures to keep him engaged and excited but not so hard he gives up. I love how eager he is to do them. They've become part of our daily routine because he enjoys them so much.
We bought this book for my pre-schooler, age 3. Mazes are so fun for pencil grip practice and drawing lines. The older kids wanted to do a maze too!
We bought this for our daughter when she was 4. She loved it! She loves getting it out and doing some of the mazes. It is very colorful and bright. I loved that she was so proud of herself afterwards. She loved that she got to do "school" like her brothers were doing.
