review by A Youth Pastor's Wife
”Each page is filled with information on the human body and how it functions, but never feels too 'wordy', as it's broken up into sections. The formatting and bright illustrations helped keep my son's interest, the whole way through!”Read the Review

”My kids absolutely adored it, as I did myself. Definitely go check this out, especially if you're doing an anatomy unit for your homeschool, or if you just want a really good book on the shelf for the kids to refer to and look at themselves.”Watch the Review
My children love this book! I read a spread once a week and my 2 and 4 year olds pay attention and have a lot of questions. It's a great way to introduce how our bodies work! The food/digestion system pages in particular are well loved -- especially while we were potty-training.
My 3 & 5 year old love this book.
I was so excited to get this out of our kit because it's so colorful and the topic is different from all the board books around the house, but I was sure, after looking at it, that it was way too advanced. Shockingly though, my almost 3 year old really likes it! We just sit down to do one spread a week but he'll flip through previous pages searching for something he remembers and always seems very engaged looking at the images. I'm sure we'll go through this multiple times over the next several years so it's definitely a keeper.
I love how this book is laid out. You can simply read little sentences about a subject or a whole page. It is perfect for all levels of learning and attention spans. If your child loses interest quickly, then you can just read a little chunk if they are in a listening mood then you can read a few, and if they are like my child you can read the whole thing in one sitting. We read it a couple of times and had fun doing so each time. The graphics are great and follow the wording perfectly to give them an amazing visual to go along with the words. It goes into enough detail about the body to teach, without having to discuss things that you really don't want to at this age. It is the perfect book to learn about your body and sneak in a few things like "that is why you need to eat your vegetables" or "this is why we need to sleep at night".
