Learning Resources Primary Science Kit
We were smitten the first time we saw Learning Resources Primary Science Kit, and apparently we weren't the only ones. Winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio 2010 Gold Seal Award, Primary Science Kit is a collection of ten durable, plastic, easy-to-grip replicas of real-life science-lab tools.
Preschooler-Sized Lab Tools
Sized just right for smaller, clumsier hands, this award-winning collection is not just for play. Each chunky tool actually works; tiny bugs are magnified, measurement markers are accurate, and the sturdy tweezers add a dimension that less extensive sets leave out.
Ten Easy-to-follow Experiments
The ten colorful, double-sided activity cards encourage scientific inquiry and curiosity. Your children will have a blast pouring, mixing, combining, and measuring their concoctions.
Learning Resources Primary Science Kit includes a durable, unbreakable beaker; a magnifying glass; a funnel; an eyedropper; a flask; tweezers; goggles; a large 6" test tube and stand; two small test tubes with lids and stand; plus activity cards. This is the perfect science kit for preschoolers!
Big Science for Little Hands! Twelve-piece set with ten easy-to-follow experiments.

My daughter really enjoyed this. She didn't want to stop using it! The equipment is very well made and the experiment cards are huge and wipe clean easily. Downside is the googles don't fit her, instead they fit me. The eye dropper also doesn't come apart. There is no way to make sure the inside gets completely dry and I fear it will eventually get mold in it. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
My son loves this science kit. The experiments are easy to do and don't require a ton of materials. It's the perfect introductory set for any child.
Loved this set. My daughter loved "making potions" with it. Fun experiments.
My daughter loved playing with this set. We didn't really do any of the experiments, but she would sit for a half hour and play with water with all the test tubes over and over again.
My two year old adores this science set. Her favorite is using the droppers and just squeezing and transferring water/mixing colors and seeing bubbles created. Repetition is the name of the game for her and these materials are durable, toddler size and perfect for exploration. She's learning to twist the caps on and off the test tubes, to pour with the cups and look through the magnifying glass. I don't think I could love it more!
