As a first time homeschool parent, I love how simple this workbook is to understand and use. My kindergartners are having a great time learning science; perfect for the age!
Great introduction into science. Perfect for the age.
I just love these Skill Sharpener Books --- they are colorful, easy to follow, keep the lesson plan simple and easy to understand. It has some cute songs to go along with the lesson plans that are fun to sing to the kids and I hear them repeating the songs to themselves while playing. We have enjoyed the experiment components and that they are very simple to conduct. Really love these books!
This book seems to be more geared towards pre-K children or children with no previous science experience.
When I got this science book, it was mainly with my Pre-K child in mind. I've been pleasantly surprised so far that all the topics have also been easily applied to my toddler and first grader as well. They all three love doing science together.
