Is this Faith Based?
Yes! While you will find far fewer biblical references in the Consumer Math than you will of course in a Bible course it is still a bible-based course and there will be some bible/Christian references. For example, it references Matthew 22:21 in regards to taxes, it references the parable told by Jesus of hiring different workers at different times of the day and paying them all the same daily wage, it talks about seeking God’s will in financial decisions, it references Noah’s ark, etcetera.

We have used TEACHING TEXTBOOKS and have loved them, but I decided to buy this CONSUMER MATH from SWITCHED ON SCHOOLHOUSE 2011 edition. It was for my son who is interested in pursuing working in a trade and no interest in college. It took a LONG time to set up and then to start working with the program, it was a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT. Compared to TEACHING TEXTBOOKS this is just poor quality, hard to use, no voice lectures, does show how to get the correct answers if it was done wrong, not a self teaching program, hard to maneuver in. Surely a disappointment when we have used such high quality math programs in the past! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY and TIME ON THIS!
