Since 1948, Wile E. Coyote has used complex contraptions to make repeated, unsuccessful attempts to catch the elusive Road Runner. This classic cartoon is known for both exaggerating and blatantly breaking the laws of physics. Now, with lighthearted text and comical illustrations, Wile E. Coyote, Physical Science Genius explains the science behind the coyote’s failed attempts.
Your child will learn basic physics while guffawing over Wile E. Coyote’s poorly planned ventures to get ahold of Road Runner. Wile E. Coyote, Physical Science Genius is a cheery introduction to the essential principles that govern physical science in our daily lives.
Wile E. Coyote Physical Science Genius does a great job of breaking down the laws of physical science into fun, easily-grasped, bite-sized pieces. My kids love comic-type books, but I'm normally not a fan. That said, the Wile E. Coyote books use a font that is large, wide, and uniform enough to be read easily. The stories, though clearly sequenced, don’t require a lot of skipping around or guessing which blurb comes next. And the illustrations are light, bright, and funny — detailed, but not too busy. So I've enjoyed reading them as much as my children have.
These are fabulous! Such a fun way to reinforce these concepts. A great teaching tool to make learning fun.
Both of my kids enjoy these comics. It’s a great way to reinforce lessons from their science books. Good for multiple ages.
I actually made the grave error of taking these books out when I ordered my kit, then realizing you cannot get them separately here and ended up spending way more on amazon. Do yourself a favor, and just include these in your kits! They are super funny, engaging, well illustrated and keep the attention well. Seeing the science come "alive" as it were, definitely helps with retaining the information... Seriously, get these in your kit, you're not going to regret it!
What fun books to read and learn about science.
