Timberdoodle's Review
The MiniLUK Brain Training series is similar to the BambinoLUK, but it is designed for an older child. Its controller board has twelve tiles in a high-quality plastic case with a transparent lid. The activities are much more challenging and feature complex brain exercises. All training begins easy but steadily climbs from basic to more advanced, then grueling which is just what this age group is looking for.

More About the LUK Learning System:

miniLUK Brain Training
The miniLUK Brain Training series is similar to the bambinoLuk but is designed for an older child. Its controller board has twelve tiles in a high-quality plastic case with a transparent lid. These tiles are numbered from "1" to "12" and the activities are much more challenging. When children finish each exercise, they can check to see if the unique symmetric pattern on the back of the controller matches the one on the page.

Thinking Skills for Ages 6-8
The miniLUK Brain Training collections include workbook sets covering memorization, concentration, visual perception, logical thinking, linguistic skills, and basic arithmetic. For ages six to eight; produced by a secular company so some of the pages may not be suitable for your children.

Brain Challenger
The miniLUK Advanced books feature complex brain challenges in a variety of workbooks. This series focuses on visual perception ability, higher-order thinking skills, and spatial relationships. All exercises begin easy but steadily climb from basic to more advanced and grueling, which is just what this age group is looking for.

Great for thinking skills

This is another product I'm currently using for the third time. I can honestly say that all 3 of my kids have enjoyed it and have been able to do most of it independently or with minimal direction. I like that they have to think through each activity and they enjoy being able to check their answers on their own. All around a great product.

miniLUK Set A

My seven year old LOVES her LUK! She looks forward to it everyday. This is what we start with as a kind of warm up and get ready for school activity. The books are the right amount of easy and challenging. They are extremely colorful and eye catching. Everything is very well made and covers a variety of different subjects. I would recommend it.

"The Fun Puzzle Book"

For my 6-year-old, this is one of the "fun things" she gets to do at homeschool. Some of the books are a little too easy for her (Teddy and Mausi in particular), but there are plenty of challenging problems as well. It is a great confidence booster because she will often look at a page and say, "this looks really hard," but when she works through it she understands and gets it right. It is a great lesson that just because something looks foreign or complicated, it doesn't mean you can't work through it and figure it out.

These are great for all levels! Both of my daughters (8 & 5) enjoy this game. They don’t even realize they’re actually learning! Huge win for us all!

Amazing product

I almost skipped this one to keep costs down but I’m so glad I didn’t. My son is a wild 6 year old who can’t sit still. He doesn’t pay attention to the details and gets easily frustrated when he doesn’t automatically get a concept. We use the MiniLUK before starting school work or between subjects when he needs a reset. It is challenging but in a good way! His attention to detail and concentration has really improved. Best of all he loves it and begs to do “one more” challenge. I just purchased the BambinoLUK for my 3 year old because she desperately wants to play with this but it’s too advanced for her. We will be ordering set B soon. We usually clip the controller in place so it doesn’t slide around the workbook
