2019 Ninth-Grade Curriculum Kit
(Free Ground Shipping on your entire order when you purchase 2019 Ninth-Grade Curriculum Kit)
This year you will love helping your child plan for college, an apprenticeship, or a specific vocation. He will study biology, early modern world history, and geometry. With creative art, robust STEM learning, and hands-on materials that develop logical thinking, this first year of high school will be a year packed with happy memories for both of you!
We asked the families who used our high school kits how long their students spent on "school." Most of the families worked on academics 4 or 5 days a week and spent 3-5 hours a day specifically on Timberdoodle materials. It is common for families to spend more or less time than that, so don't stress if your schedule doesn't exactly match up. And, of course, the time you spend will be greatly impacted by how in-depth your student takes their studies, their learning approach, how distractible they allow themselves to be, and much more. You’ll be able to plan yours to work best for you with your access to the online Timberdoodle Scheduler, included with your kit. Make sure you allow your family some time to find your own rhythm!

I love the custom curriculum option. I was able to fine tune the curriculum to fit the needs of my child.
It gave me all the courses to get through the begining of high school. The history was a little confusing.
I loved Friendly Biology, the vocabulary book, Implications of Literature, and Critical Thinking.
I customized our kit to make it work for our ninth and tenth grade daughters. They weren't sure at first about the weekly schedule, but quickly decided it was wonderful. If we have a busy week with Co-op or whatever, they know what they need to accomplish for the week and can work ahead!
It's very easy for my student to work through the materials alone. I've been pleasantly surprised at how hands-off your curriculum is for the parent. The one drawback I find is that I have to work at keeping track of whether/how much my student is learning. I also love that most of your material is Bible-based.
