Experts agree that riddles boost children’s intelligence by exposing them to critical thinking and problem-solving. Riddles can also improve creativity and are an excellent warm-up exercise for your pre-kindergartner's brain. Can You Find Me will give your child ample opportunities to think and reason, with 100 mind-building riddles that introduce critical thinking and systematic analysis. To solve each colorful rhyming riddle, your child may need to identify similarities and differences, recognize sequences, classify objects, or interpret analogies. These are concepts found in most state and national standards.

Can You Find Me challenges require understanding two or more clues to deduce the answer. No pencilwork is necessary, as your child can either point to a picture or answer verbally. Can You Find Me covers reading readiness, science, math, and social studies and includes answers and a chart of skills developed in each activity.

Excellent Supplement

I purchased this because some of the pages like this in building thinking skills stumped my child, and she needed the extra practice. I don’t plan to buy the next book as we have the next building thinking skills, and she seems to grasp the concept now.

Great books

My kids love these. Some of the "lessons" are a little advanced for pre-k, but my 1st grader loves solving the riddles. Great choice for developing a logical thinker.

Great introduction to logic

With so much emphasize on subject based learning, I was extremely pleased to find an early learner text that emphasizes how to think. Would recommend more so Kindergarten/late Pre-K than early if only because there are a lot of concepts we haven’t touched on yet and are having to learn as we attempt each problem weekly.

Great book!

This teaches alot of different skills, at first I had to help my child learn how to critically think and "cross out" what's not the answer. Over a period of time, they ended up doing it on their own. We use this in our circle time basket as a group and they always ask for more puzzles every time.

Can’t believe this was a freebie

So much great content in here that I can’t believe we got it for free! We had gotten my daughter caterpillars for science and the caterpillar pages in here were a fun extension.
