When we finally began building our third warehouse, the need for hydraulic equipment was abundant. The use of pressurized liquids allowed these big machines to do most of the heavy lifting and moving, but there is no need to build a warehouse to teach your teens about hydraulics.

Fischertechnik Hydraulic provides as realistic a construction kit as you can imagine, and offers hands-on learning about the transfer of force using liquids. Five different models illustrate the basics of hydraulics through play. Operated with water, working cylinders extend, moving the digger arm or the shovel on the excavator. This Hydraulic kit offers extensive building and playing fun, and will encourage your teen to learn through play.

Fischertechnik Hydraulic comes with nearly 500 parts, including four hydraulic cylinders, crawler tracks, and a building manual.

About Fischertechnik
For years Fischertechnik manufactured world-renowned components intended for engineering companies who built prototypes of factory installations. Those tabletop factory replicas realistically and cost-effectively allowed the engineers to plan, program, develop, and test industrial controls; debug designs; and even train personnel who would operate the new equipment. Because such tasks demanded precision, the Fischertechnik parts were fabricated with quality and realism in mind. Then at Christmas in 1964, using an assortment of the same components, Fischertechnik presented child-friendly modeling kits to engineers and industrial clients.
