Djeco Lush Nature
Scratch art is a type of engraving where an artist scratches through dark ink to uncover a colored layer beneath. Now French company Djeco has taken scratch art to a whole new level with these original display-worthy designs. Follow the directions and embellish parts of the creative scratch art boards with simple zentangle-like patterns, and in other places, larger areas of the boards are scratched off to reveal hidden surprises.
For the animal lover, Djeco Lush Nature has beautiful pictures of safari animals in gorgeous colors surrounded by floral patterns. Djeco Lush Nature includes four scratch templates, one scratch tool and a full-color instruction booklet filled with inspiring design ideas. Djeco Lush Nature will boost both your child’s fine motor and visual discernment skills.

”I've found that giving him something to keep him busy while I read to him has made a huge difference in our school time. He willingly listens when he has something to busy his hands.”Read the Review
My kids love this! Very calming and fun to do as a family. Highly recommend.
Two of my children have completed these. The results are nice. Good quiet activity to do while listening to audio books.
Timberdoodle has long been my go-to place for fun extras for our homeschool. My son was so excited to find this in the catalog to use with our study of animals. Every so often, you need to do something different in your lesson plan to keep your kiddos engaged. This was just the thing. As he does the scratch art, we can review what we've learned about that animal. It's a great addition to our family morning basket and the art doesn't feel too "babyish" to him (4th grade).
We loved this. I was so glad to pick it up when putting together our curriculum order. The price was a steal for the lovely piece of art now hanging on our wall. I always like art projects worth displaying - it makes the kids feel good to contribute to the home in a way that adds their own personality. 10/10 fun little craft, and she could do it on her own.
I have 3 daughters ages 6, 9, and 11 and these really are loved by all 3. They create very rich images and I have found it keeps them focused so I can read to them as they work and the room is quiet and calm!
