This is a fun little book that my daughter enjoys doing more for recreation than education. She has fun with it and often chooses it when she gets free choice.
My older children (7 & 9) are in love with Slimy Space Slugs, so much that I ordered books 2 & 3 for Christmas! They really enjoy the story as well as being able to write inside the book! The doodling prompts are so fun that 2-3 pages a week just wasn't enough for my kiddos! They completed the book within the first few weeks of school and begged for more! I highly suggest this book!
This has been a great tool to excite my 8/9 year old to write and draw. As an active boy who doesn't like to sit still, this has helped him to enjoy writing/drawing. Our schedule of two pages a week is not enough. He does at least ten pages on one day!
I can't say enough about this book. After all these years of homeschooling we get rid of so many things since they keep piling up but this one is a lifetime keeper. It's engaging and thought provoking and not the average hum drum. They love the adventure and mystery.
The book is very fun, interactive, creative, and lets you be creative as well.-Remi age 8
