Dr. Livingston's Anatomy Jigsaw Puzzle: The Human Left Leg
The seventh volume of Dr. Livingston's Anatomy Jigsaw Puzzle: The Human Left Leg focuses on the skeletal structure of the legs.
Your student will learn how the bones and joints allow our lower limbs to be bipedal. And how they offer an optimal blend of rigidity and flexibility and will enable us to maintain our balance.
This beautiful puzzle also shows veins and arteries interwoven to explain how oxygenated blood is delivered and deoxygenated blood is removed.
Dr. Livingston's Anatomy Jigsaw Puzzles
A popular pastime during the COVID-19 pandemic was jigsaw puzzles. With a world that felt out of control, jigsaw puzzles provided a clear goal and a sense of purpose. Families could gather and spend an afternoon assembling a puzzle. The pieces could be left on a table to tinker on whenever the mood hit. Because jigsaw puzzles engage both sides of the brain, they are an excellent choice for people of all ages and not just during a quarantine!
We are pleased to offer Dr. Livingston's beautiful, larger-than-life, medically-illustrated human anatomy puzzles. Each uniquely-shaped puzzle presents scientifically accurate cross-sections of the human body, at about twice the size of an actual human.
Your students will naturally learn as they work on the different anatomy sections. Each puzzle box looks like a vintage medical text and includes a front cover that seals shut with a durable magnetic clasp. A detailed, labeled image identifying all the parts is on the inside flap of the box.
The puzzle pieces are of good quality, and the educational value of this puzzle is unsurpassed. Each Dr. Livingston puzzle may be assembled and displayed individually or combined to create a continuous 10' tall jigsaw puzzle of the human body. There are seven Dr. Livingston volumes available.
Ask your student to complete this puzzle up to once a month until he has mastered it.

”The extra large size and magnificent details really bring the learning to life. The small pictures in science books have absolutely nothing on these elaborately detailed puzzles.”
