We took Timberdoodle's suggestion and used Easy Grammar Ultimate Grade 10 Teadcher's Guide as a student workbook. It was a handy way for my tenth-grader to work independently, and the answers aren't too easy to get to, which is good, because, well , it's not too tempting to peek. I was a little overwhelmed at some of the grammar concepts that were so complex, so we skipped a few things. Our favorite part was "sentence combining," a wonderful way to bring writing and verbal skills to the next level.
