Engino Engineering kits are among the most advanced and multifaceted three-dimensional construction toys in the world today. Made of a rugged hard plastic, the Engino Inventor 50-in-1 Motorized Set is a system of versatile rods and connectors that allows connectivity of up to six sides at the same time.
Exclusive Extendable Components
Uniquely adaptable, the holes on one side of the rod-like connectors allow for smooth rotation, while the holes on the opposite side do not. So, unlike many brick construction kits, robust Engino pieces can be connected in virtually any direction or angle. Additionally, all Engino parts snap together and stay together. And with their exclusive extendable components, your child will love how easy and fast it is to build oversized simple and complex designs.
Includes 3V Engino Geared Motor
In addition to static constructions, many of the Engino 50-in-1 Motorized Set’s models can operate with the included 3V Engino geared motor. The motor has a double-action switch and works with 2 AAA batteries (not included).
Pictorial and 3D Instructions
The Engino 50-in-1 Motorized Set contains detailed printed instructions for four models, and online PDF instructions for all 50 models. These wordless instructions are clear and show exploded views of the step-by-step approach to building each project. Instructions for all 50 models are also available in an interactive 3D viewer that can be accessed from your PC, smartphone, or tablet through the Engino app, which is downloadable in Apple (iOs), Android, and Windows mobile operating systems. Our review team found the 3D interactive viewer somewhat difficult to utilize, preferring the step-by-step PDF instructions. However, the 3D version does have the amazing capability to let you view the model from every angle, and see it both assembled and with the pieces exploded. Information on accessing the instructions is included with the set; why not try both versions of the directions and see which is the most engaging for your student?

A little sad to see Engino leaving in the closeout section... This set has been a fave at our house and the quality is great!
I’m sad to see this item in the close out section! It’s such good quality, pieces fit together well, and keeps little builders busy!
So my 9 year old gets frustrated a bit too fast for my liking, when things don't go the correct way right away, so I have been adding building projects like these to his day to tackle this trait. This particular brand is really nice for my goal, because the pieces are quality, durable and actually fit right, so IF something isn't connecting as it should, it's because he is doing something wrong, not because the kit isn't fitting properly. So many other brands we've tried ended up with pieces that fell apart, wouldn't snap well together, broke easily, which caused nothing but frustration and the projects ended up half finished in the toy box. Not these, these get build from scratch to finish, though it may take a day or two to complete. My only issue is the instructions, they are quite small in print, and not always 100% clear. Oh and black and white, a little color would be very helpful lol.
But, we definitely recommend this brand and this kit!
I got this on a whim since we are in lockdown and the kids were feeling restless. This is such a great, high quality building set! It is quite instructional, not just a build and play but a teaching activity. With 50 models they will be at this for a long time!
Our oldest son (14) absolutely loves a new STEM challenge. He was able to connect this set with another set we bought from Timberdoodle last year and was completely amazed that it had motorized parts. This is one of his favorite products!
