Exploring Creation with Physical Science
Exploring Creation with Physical Science, 3rd Edition 2-book set is designed to be the last science course the student takes before high school biology. Thus, we generally recommend it as an 8th-grade course. However, your student can also use it for their 9th-grade coursework. With a strong emphasis on vocabulary and experiments, this foundational course covers everything students need to prepare successfully for a college-level physical science course. See our optional lab kit here.
The text discusses such topics as:
- The atmosphere
- The hydrosphere
- Weather
- The structure of the earth
- Environmentalism
- The physics of motion
- Newton's Laws, gravity, and more.
There is an MP3 Audio CD available (sold separately) that is designed to be used with the textbook Exploring Creation With Physical Science. It is the perfect complement to the textbook for auditory learners or those students who benefit from listening while they read. With features such as the very helpful year-long daily schedule, lab reports for the experiments, optional fill-in-the-blank summaries for extra practice, study guides, and so much more, you will find the Student Notebook to be an excellent addition to your science curriculum this year.
Please note that these textbooks are not for every student. They are massive, detailed, and require a fair amount of math. A student who does not yet excel at math or will be overwhelmed by the textbook format may lose their zeal for science if forced to proceed down this track. Instead, we suggest looking at Friendly Physical Science for a gentler approach to feed their interest without overwhelming them.
