Kick Start Cognitive Development
Kick start your child's cognitive development with these amazing Extreme Dot-to-Dot Puzzle books. Reinforcing numbers and number order has never been so much fun!
Not Like Conventional Dot-to-Dots
Unlike conventional Dot-to-Dot puzzles that reveal too much of the picture and ruin the mystery, Extreme Dot-to-Dot Puzzles are intricate, and so challenging that when your child looks at a page, he will have no idea what the end result will be.
Up to 1,500+ Dots
Both your child's left and right brains will be exercised as he works to complete puzzles with 300 to over 1,500 dots. Some puzzles even cover a two-page spread - definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Not Just for Children
And not just for children. Many adults, myself included, find these books both provoking and relaxing, a treat for sluggish minds and weary bodies. 32 puzzles per book.

I purchased Extreme Dot-to-Dot Explorers for my son for his 7th birthday. This is his second Extreme Dot to Dot book and he loves them. He works on them during our read aloud time during school and at night when we are reading before bed. He usually does 100 dots at a time and loved discovering what the image is. I was worried it would be too hard for him but he has good pencil control and usually enough patience. I do have to help him find dots on occasion.
I love to have something interesting for my kids to do with their hands while they listen to read-alouds, and Extreme Dot to Dots is perfect for that. What I especially like about the Explorers book is that I can match up pictures with "real people" we are reading about as a great lesson tie-in. The solutions in the back of the book, while not really needed, provide an at-a-glance reference for me to determine what puzzle to assign to go with which reading. (Because, unlike easier dot-to-dots designed for little kids, it's impossible to tell what the pictures are until they are worked.) My 17-year-old daughter loves do these on her on just for fun. And I have to admit I've done a few myself!
The Explorers edition of the Extreme Dot-to-Dot series is fantastic! It is filled with very detailed, 1 and 2 page spreads, of some very complex designs. BUT, they are not for the faint-of-heart! They require concentration and commitment. My 10 and 13-year old students enjoy them greatly, but this particular book is too hard for my 8-year-old. Likely there are some 8 year olds (or even younger) who could do these, so I would just advise considering your own child's ability to stick with such a project without becoming frustrated. There are small, black-and-white pictures of the finished puzzles if you need help, and these are also helpful if you want to select certain puzzles to coordinate with your studies. They look best if you color them after you finish them. Great to keep hands occupied while Mom reads!
The Extreme Dot to Dot Explorers book is really amazing! This book surpasses any dot-to-dot books that I have ever seen. Some of them contain nearly 1500 dots! The pictures of some complex that you usually have no clue what the final outcome will be. This is definitely above my children's head, but they are already looking forward to when they can do it! In the meantime, they love to watch me do it, and it is a fun break. I like that you can see the answers in the back. That way, you can choose if you want to do Daniel Boone, a space ship, a covered wagon, a dog sled of the Egyptian tombs. There is such a wide variety of Explorer options included.
My older sons LOVE the Extreme Dot-to-Dot books. It was very disheartening to see them "out-grow" doing dot-to-dot books. Although they still loved them, the typical dot-to-dot books were just to easy for them. I was thrilled when I found that more difficult dot-to-dot books existed. My sons, on the other hand, were ecstatic to see them! They love to work all of the different dot-to-dot puzzles in the books. Typically, I allow them to use these books whenever they desire and it is also something they may choose to do quietly if they are waiting for my help. The books are great for filling waiting time since they can be stopped at any point and easily started again later. These dot-to-dot books are extremely wonderful to our family!
