    I stress over art

    Growing up, art was my sister's thing and to give her her own space where she did not need to compete with me, I never took art classes. Now, I am a homeschooling mom and I really regret that decision because my sister walked away from art long ago, but I need those skills to teach my kids. So when its time to cover art in our home school, I stress out big time because I have no background to really know what I am doing or reading or preparing. I don't understand which media to use, what it can do, which paper to use, or thicknesses of papers... and I cannot trouble shoot issues. I stress out over here while other families pop out gorgeous paintings. Thank goodness Timberdoodle offers you a kit all ready to go to teach the post-impressionists artists. It cuts down my stress level. I really don't know how I would get through the year without those ideas. Thanks!
