One of the first strategy games to teach children is tic-tac-toe. It is exciting to see their delight when they finally "get it." Still, it doesn't take long until they experience the disappointment of too many games that end in a draw. Now Gobblet Gobblers incorporates tic-tac-toe's ease with a twist that virtually eliminates stalemates. In Gobblet Gobblers, you can move any of your pieces already in play, add a new piece, or gobble up an opponent's piece.
Perfect for multi-age gatherings, Gobblet Gobblers will test your father's secret strategy while training your children for even more complex games.
Award-winning Gobblet Gobblers comes with one DIY playing grid and 12 game pieces that have plenty of personality.
You must be the first player to get 3 pieces in a row to win.
On your turn, you may put any of your Gobblers on the board or move one of your Gobblers already on the board to a new space. You may “gobble” any smaller Gobblers.
”What usually happens in tic-tac-toe, especially if the players have similar skill levels, is that “the cat gets it.” How many games of tic-tac-toe can you play without getting tired of the stupid cat getting it every single time? That doesn’t happen with Gobblet Gobblers.”
”Gobblet Gobblers combines the game of tic-tac-toe with the added challenge of nesting dolls. When we decided to homeschool we learned the importance of critical thinking skills and this game is perfect way to work on those skills and a fun and engaging way.”
”I think Gobblet Gobblers would be a great addition to your gameschooling shelves! It will help your kindergartener work on memory, visual perception, problem-solving, and help them focus on the task at hand.”
