Kumon Let's Cut Paper
Learning to safely use a pair of scissors universally seems to bring extraordinary joy to young children. Your child will learn how to hold and control scissors. He will improve his skills as he works through the book. Many pages offer helpful tips for the parents and all are sturdy enough to manage, but not so thick as to be difficult to cut.

From the Publisher:
Learning to safely use a pair of scissors is an important part of preparing for school. This workbook is for children who have never used scissors before. Children will learn how to hold and control a pair of scissors, and will advance from simple one-stroke cuts all the way to cutting complicated curved and zig-zagged lines and shapes.

Great help!

My now kindergartener has always loved using scissors, which has kind of been terrifying for me because he would just kind of go at it, but now he's actually learning control and has come a long way from where he was!

Endless fun! I purchased this as my son is left handled and has struggled with scissors. He ASKS for this and loves the pages. Will def. purchase more.

My three old loves using scissors and this is perfect for her. The pages are interesting and a great pace for her.

Great for all ages

A good starter for the work time for my 1st grader and my preschooler is gaining needed fine motor skills.

Great cutting book

I highly recommend this book. Both my two and three yo are obsessed. They cut up the pictures and want to display it. Such a great way to practice scissor control!
