Mind Benders Level 4
Mind Benders Level 4 for grades 3-6
When I was about ten years old, my parents, with their six daughters ages two to eleven, spent the summer driving a Dodge van from Panama to Oregon, then over to Michigan. Cars in those days did not have media centers, and if ours had a working radio or air conditioner, it was a well-guarded secret. But what we did have were several large tote bags of puzzle books. It was on this trip that I was first introduced to this absorbing type of puzzle. Mind Benders are deductive thinking puzzles that develop vital logic, reading comprehension, and mental organization skills necessary for solving real-life problems.
Identify Logical Associations
Your child will carefully analyze each Mind Benders story and its clues, identifying logical associations between people, places, and things. The key is to start with the most obvious associations, then deduce less obvious associations until everything finally fits together.
Includes step-by-step instructions and detailed answers. Levels spiral in difficulty within grade ranges

My daughter is 7 and she enjoys these books. She can work a grade level ahead on these. She likes using her brain to solve these!
Wonderful puzzles! Great practice in logic. Both my 2nd & 4th grader really enjoy working on these!
I loved using Mind Benders with my kids, and now I am excited about sharing them with my grandchildren!! A great mind-stretching, logic-building activity.
This is great to get kids to think out side of the box which I think is not taught enough in public school! My son loves these lil things and I do to as it really gets me to thinking which my son thinks is funny! I will buy this product in the future. Thanks for a great product!
This is a good way to teach critical thinking skills for children of any ability level (normal, gifted, or special needs). I've used it with my autistic son and found it challenging but effective. I would definitely recommend starting out with the easier levels of this program, but continuing on through this and other books by the Critical Thinking Co. will put them way ahead of the curve while studying formal logic and latin. You can't do better than these books!
