My 4 year old flew through this book so it was not challenging for her but she still had a blast and constantly asked to work on it.
Beautiful illustrations and great games. My 4yo zipped through this book and loved every page. He was sad when it was completed.
It is like a nicely bound, beautiful colored pictures book, but it's essentially a workbook. I like it, it is nice, but it is nothing special, unless you like your workbooks to resemble nicely bound books. Not my favorite because of this.
My daughter flew through this book less than a month into the school year, though to be fair she is considered gifted, so that may be why. She went through it so fast, that it might be a little too easy for this age group and might be more well suited for about a 2 year old. With that said, it was a really cute book with lots of interesting puzzles in it that she had fun doing even though she did them very quickly.
We like this book so much that I ordered the other books that are made from the same company!
