In Pirates Crossfire, ages 7 through adult, take command of a puzzle battlefield where ship placement decides victory or defeat. You’ll get a wavy blue game board, two rocky obstacles, two pirate ships, four navy ships with working cannons, and a challenge booklet loaded with 80 puzzles. There are four modes to master, each with its own rules of engagement. Sometimes it’s complete peace, with everyone keeping their cannons cold. Other times the pirates open fire while the navy must hold steady, or the navy attacks while pirates lay low. And then there’s total war, where every ship is fair game.
Each challenge shows where the rocks belong and sometimes where a few ships start. Your task is to place the remaining ships so every firing line—or deliberate lack of one—matches the rules for that mode. Cannons fire only straight out from a ship’s sides, rocks can block shots or serve as cover, and even one wrong rotation can sink your perfect plan.
As you play, you’ll sharpen planning, spatial reasoning, problem-solving, concentration, and flexible thinking. The detailed, sturdy pieces fit neatly into their tray, making it easy to pack up between battles. With 80 challenges to clear, Pirates Crossfire keeps captains plotting, dodging, and scheming long after the first cannon blast.
