Plugo Link
Solve STEM puzzles and construction challenges with the educational and mentally-stimulating Plugo Link. Have you been looking for a way to keep your children's minds active and engaged this summer? Then you will find Plugo Link a unique, challenging, and exciting option.

Typically, we stay away from teaching tools that require screen time, both in our home and in our curriculum. But Plugo Link, while necessitating the use of a tablet, also employs tactile components to complete logical and spatial reasoning games.

Geared for children between 4 and 10 years of age, Plugo Link uses stacking hexagonal blocks with embedded magnets on all six sides. It's quite easy to set up and connect to your device via the Plugo app, then arrange the magnetic blocks on the gaming pad to build structures and solve puzzles. Plugo Link invites your child to solve mind-stretching challenges using augmented reality technology, while the parental controls allow you to adjust the difficulty of puzzles according to the child's age or abilities. There are six distinct games in the app with a combination of over 250 progressive challenges to solve. (The app automatically filters some of the 250 challenges based on each child's age, yet each child will still enjoy a generous, overlapping assortment of puzzles.) Plugo Link is designed to develop engineering skills, creativity, reasoning abilities, spatial intelligence, and creative thinking, while the most recent game addition will also help your child learn words and increase vocabulary.

Plugo Link comes with a foldable gamepad, 15 hexagonal building blocks, and a help guide with step-by-step instructions.

Awesome STEM toy

My kids (ages 4 & 6) love Plugo link. My four year old was able to play it when she was 3. My six year old has autism and loves it as well. Some of the games they need help with but after playing it for a bit they catch right on and are able to take off with it. There are 6 games currently that come with the LINK app. Some easier then others and all different themes to interest a variety of taste. This is an excellent STEM interactive game. I would also recommend PLUGO count and letters. Must have a newer generation iPad (if using iPad) like 6 or higher I believe or the software doesn’t work. I actually bought a newer iPad for my kids to use with this last Christmas and it has been worth every Penny because we also use the PLUGO letters and count. We have PLUGO and OSMO STEM learning toys and honestly like the PLUGO more due to the size of the manipulatives. Another difference is that with OSMO, your placing all your manipulatives or game pieces on a flat surface in order to interact with the game. However, with PLUGO your pieces are placed on top of one another and the player is building off of the flat surface. (See video).

Only con is that you may need to help younger kids or someone with a disability catch on to a few aspects- because PLUGO does prompt less then the OSMO games. (for example your children will need to move their hand out of the way when they place there link, so their hand doesn’t block the camera from picking up the placement of the link. Also if they forget to clear the links from the screen before the next game, Link gives no audio prompt telling the child to clear the board. It tries to prompt them with written words that pop up on the screen. If your little one isn’t reading yet, they won’t know until you've told then a few times that what keeps popping up on the screen is “clear the window”. ) It has been worth every penny. PLUGO link is 5 stars. Happy to see Timberdoddle offer it, and they are soooooo right on target with this one. Get it. You won’t be disappointed. LOVE IT!!! I told my sister all about it who does in home daycare and she has purchased it as well. I don’t let my kids play video games but when it comes to PLUGO link- there is no “time” limits or restrictions I place on it.
