Show Me Science: Slime, Crystals & More
Before your child gets bogged down with scientific equations and overwhelmed with taxonomical classifications, there is a period of scientific exploration that is full of wonder and eager excitement. Show Me Science is aimed at hitting that sweet spot. Because this age group can no more read the directions than they can pour the vinegar, Show Me Science will be the parent’s science kit.

It will be messy; it will be time-consuming, but it will make your little one’s eyes sparkle, and it will give him a thirst for science that should last a lifetime. We encourage you to allow your child to participate as much as possible, and we made sure that there will be many opportunities for that. Show Me Science’s collection of 30 child-friendly experiments will have your child clamoring for just one more. The kit includes nearly everything you need, except for the occasional common household or easily-procurable items. Full-color manual with step-by-step instructions and a link to online demonstrations is also included.

Note: Customers who used our 2018 or 2019 Kindergarten kit will find that Show Me Science is a remix of those years' science kit. If you prefer not to perform these experiments again, you can remove Show Me Science by using our custom kit builder.

The packaging box is lightweight and may not hold up well through bumpy transit or everyday use. Although we hope to see this kit upgraded to superior packaging in the future, families using this edition of Show Me Science may want to plan on investing in other storage materials.

it's fine

This kit was fine, simple little science experiments, and you had access to videos from the kit makers you could watch to help your kiddo understand what you were doing in the experiment. Really don’t know how much of this we did because after our second was born, our kinder student would hang with my dad for “science time” (he's a retired science/math teacher) for a bit every other day or so, so I gave him the kit and haven’t seen it since.

Enjoyable.

We enjoyed using this kit for basic science, my son called it a magic science kit and enjoyed the experiments included.

Great fun, but room for improvement.

We have enjoyed all of the experiments we have done from this kit, but they could be so much better. My children love to know the why, and included in that is why is this idea/topic important. I'd love to see some real life examples of the information conveyed through these experiments so the kids can be looking for the application in the world around them. Even providing information about external resources for those that want more information would be helpful.

We've had so much fun with this quality kit

My daughter is almost five, and she loves these science experiments. We've had a lot of fun learning together. She's able to do most of it herself with help and supervision. I think this kit is great for older ages as well!

Show Me Science

Experiments are fairly simple and easy for a Kindergartener to understand. However, there is not much explanation as to why. I wish it would go a little more into depth as to why we are doing the experiment and why the experiment had the reaction it did.
