How to Use The Story of the World Volume 2 Audiobook

The audiobook is a narrated version of The Story of the World Volume 2 history text and pairs with the Volume 2 Activity Book, sold separately or together as part of Timberdoodle's curriculum kits.

1. Listen together or assign it independently, depending on your child's age and listening habits. Many families play the audiobook during car rides, quiet time, or alongside their regular history block.
2. After listening to a chapter, use the Activity Book to reinforce what your child heard—map work, activity pages, hands-on projects, review questions, and extension activities all tie back to the audiobook chapters.
3. Replay favorite chapters or sections throughout the week. Because the stories are narrative-driven, many children retain more when they hear the material more than once.
4. Move at a pace that fits your family. Many families work through about three chapters every two weeks, which finishes the program in a standard school year while leaving room for activities, discussion, and review. Slower or faster is also fine.
