Learning to drink out of an open cup is an important developmental milestone for babies, even babies as young as six months! And although sippy cups may be a judicious choice when visiting grandma, babies need to learn that if you turn your cup a certain way, the contents will spill. We certainly applaud the school of thought that embraces the idea of giving babies real experiences through the use of glass dishware, but we don’t have hours to devote to cleaning up glass shards, and we don’t imagine you do either.
Tiny Cup was designed with baby’s hands and mouth in mind. Made of soft non-slip silicone to protect baby’s first teeth, Tiny Cup is easy to grip and has a weighted base and tactile bumps to help prevent spills. Built to last, dishwasher safe Tiny Cup is 100% food grade silicone, free of BPA, BPS, PV, phthalates, lead and latex and won’t fade, corrode or deteriorate.
Manufacturer's Recommended Age: Designed for infants 4+ months
This cup is adorable. I got 3 of them, one for each grandbaby. They will be super helpful in teaching them to use a "real" cup, just like the big people.
Oh man, I love this cup. In just a couple of uses, my 15-month-old is successfully drinking from a cup (brand new skill for her!). I like that it's so small, as when she inevitably decides to pour out the contents, it's not so much that it turns into a disaster. The soft material makes it safe for dumping onto the floor, if that happens. Learning to self-feed is a tricky (and messy!) process, but this makes it bit easier.
