TwoStick Shadows Paint Kit: Birds When your student wants more than a paint-by-number kit but is not ready for a blank canvas, it is time for a TwoStick Shadows Paint Kit. Referred to as the training wheels for the beginning painter, TwoStick Shadows Paint Kits allow your child to experiment with paint colors and techniques. At the same time, they provide just enough guidelines to inspire confidence.
Every kit includes six canvases of various sizes, each one comprising a grayscale image, and six color guide images to use as a reference. As your child’s skills and confidence increase, he’ll become less and less dependent on the shadows. Perfect for beginners, TwoStick Shadows kits produce finished works that are stunning!
Each TwoStick Shadows Paint Kit includes six canvases, 18 tubes of acrylic paint, two synthetic paintbrushes, a simple two-stick oak frame, and instructions.
From the Manufacturer: Painting by Shadows® is everything paint-by-numbers is...and everything paint-by-numbers isn't. It is relatively easy-yes. It gives as good or better results. But you are painting, not coloring with paint! Short, but high-quality written instructions are included along with accompanying videos. When you finish, you will have your versions of beautiful licensed works of art from working artists!
Multi-Canvas kits include everything you need to paint six paintings. Start with two 5x7" simple paintings, continue with three 8x10" paintings that are a bit more challenging. Finish with a large 13x19" work that will truly hone your skills.
Paint something you'll actually hang on the wall!
Paint directly on the shadow using the reference image in your box as your guide. There are instructions included along with short online video lessons. We suggest allowing 45 minutes or more per week to finish these six detailed canvases.
50% of the manufacturer's profits are donated to the Bridge2Rwanda scholars program.

”This kit is referred to as having training wheels in painting in that you paint directly on a canvas shadow image, with a color image as your only guide.”
