Some books are insubstantial enough that after one read-through you’ve mined their entire depth. Other books, such as the Usborne Under the Sea Picture Puzzle Book, necessitate repeated use to fully capitalize on the scope of thinking and identification skills.
With each read of the Under the Sea Picture Puzzle Book your child will discover new patterns, hidden objects, or items that continue to interest him. Overflowing with charming, vibrantly-illustrated marine and deep-sea scenes, your child will be looking for similarities to spot or differences to detect while developing his visual discrimination, a mental and visual activity that is essential for reading readiness.
When Under the Sea Picture Puzzle Book’s challenges become stale, add your own, such as “find three…” or “find a purple…”, and encourage your child to challenge you, which will build his vocabulary skills as well!
Under the Sea Picture Puzzle Book is an oversized, super-thick paper book for 2- to 5-year-olds.

This book is lots of fun. I got it for my almost 3 year old who likes to look at it with me. But my 6 and 8 year olds end up running off with it and spending time together hunting for the hidden items. I love that the pages while not a true board book are some type of sturdy material that can't be torn. Very beautiful book.
The illustrations are so cute and quirky. My 3 year old twins just aren't to the point where they are understanding all of the tasks asked of them in these books. I feel like they will love them as they get a bit older.
We love how these Picture Puzzle books are great for the whole family. Kids, Mom, Dad, and even Grandma love looking at the beautiful spreads and find the hidden items. The Under the Sea Picture Puzzle Book opens the imagination to life under the sea. Our family favorite it the colorful sea turtle page.
My son loves discovering new hidden objects in the pages of this book, and the challenge behind counting and finding color for different creatures and objects.
The illustrations in this book are so bright and bold. My 2 and 4 year old boys fight over who gets this book in their room. Searching for the pictures is challenging but not frustrating!! Provides a sense if accomplishment. There are several questions per search but you can easily expound on them to incorporate color search, shape search or
Language comprehension!! We love this book!!
