”Kids will come away with a list of eye-popping trivia, sure. But they’ll also come away with a richer, deeper, understanding of anatomy and physiology — and a list of new topics to research and read.”Read the Review
These little entries are quick, colorful and full of fun facts. It's a short daily read if you just read one each day. We use it to just kind of gather everyone around and get ready for science. It's kind of like a "hook" to get the kiddos engaged for the day. There are some super silly and intriguing entries in this book. One thing I'll say for those who use Timberdoodle's religious kits - this book is secular and has some entries that are contrary to a Biblical view of the body and its creation. You may want to read this with your kiddo if that is a concern for you.
Usborne books are always a win! My kids like to read this in the car to each other. We are all learning alot!
Usborne books are always winners and this book is no different. Full of tons of information presented in a kid friendly manner.
Love this one! My child looks forward to it each day
We did this book as a read aloud and everyone loved it. My children are a wide spread in ages and all loved it, from 7-17. The information is very well laid out and explained in terms that are easy to understand with vibrant pictures that really bring it to life. We have done many anatomy books and this is definitely one of our favorites!
