Bring Latin into Your Child's Life!
Homeschool parents understand the edge that learning Latin will give to their children. But in the whirlwind of studying math, language arts, history and science, to say nothing of fixing nutritious meals and cleaning homes, Latin studies is one of the first things to go. Now it doesn’t have to be. Introducing Visual Latin, the exciting combination of short vibrant videos and appealing exercises designed to teach your children Latin.

Hear It, See It, Speak It, Write It, and Think It!
Just load the Visual Latin DVD in the player, hit play and your child starts learning; nothing could be easier. Every Visual Latin lesson contains three parts: grammar, sentences, and reading, with the reading segment covering reading, comprehension, and translation.

Videos Take Less Than Ten Minutes!
In each of the three parts, you begin with a video that takes less than ten minutes to watch. Afterwards, your child completes the corresponding PDF worksheet to reinforce what he just learned. So Visual Latin is not only visual, it is multi-sensory. You hear it, see it, speak it, write it, and ultimately think it.

Work Independently!
Because each lesson has a reading translation component, your child will be translating complete sentences, much of it Christian in nature, from the very first lesson! No prior knowledge of Latin by either the student or the parent is required to use the self-paced Visual Latin curriculum. With the relaxed, humorous, short, and easy-to-digest lessons, children nine and older should be able to complete most of the work independently.

Fun and Engaging!
Visual Latin is the joint idea of two dads whose wives homeschool their kids. According to his bio, instructor Dwane Thomas was raised by a pack of wild Latin teachers near the Rubicon, and has been teaching and telling jokes in Latin for 15 years. His passion is what makes Visual Latin not only informative but also funny and engaging. If you have given up the dream of teaching Latin because it seemed too difficult, too costly, or too time-consuming, Visual Latin will let your dream become a reality.

Use for Multiple Students Within Your Home
For ages nine and older, Visual Latin is non-consumable and can be used to teach as many children as are a part of the same household. For more information click the “Learn More” tab above.

Visual Latin - A Timberdoodle Review
"...I have to share a little bit about why the program works so well for us.
    1. Short lessons. Thank you Dwayne Thomas for understanding the attention span of my boys.
    2. Repetition, reinforcement, and building skills in increments.
    3. Practicing what they have learned while it's still fresh in their minds.
    4. Humor. Dwayne Thomas is funny. He makes my kids laugh.
    5. The human element. When Dwayne Thomas makes mistakes, he doesn't make a big deal about them.
    6. Relaxed, conversational delivery from a male teacher..."
