Wooden World Map Puzzle
World map puzzles are always an excellent way for children to learn about the world they live in. This Wooden World Map Puzzle is the most elegant one we have discovered for your pre-k student. This round puzzle comes with 36 very chunky and durable wooden pieces and a full-size print diagram that your child can use as an easy reference. If your child needs additional help, he can assemble the puzzle directly on the poster itself. For advanced learners, the flip-side of the sheet has facts about the world and animals.

This Wooden World Map Puzzle teaches oceans, continents, and other essential geography marvels. And because it is a puzzle, it will exercise both sides of your child’s brain and improve his memory, problem-solving skills, and visual and spatial reasoning.

Just right for my 8 yo with differing fine motor control

I wanted to touch base with you about the geography puzzle since you put so much effort into helping me choose the best one for Addison. He and I opened it for the first time this morning and it was PERFECT! First, the pieces were nice and solid and sized just right for him to hold, handle and manipulate with his fine motor. Secondly, the poster/template served as an excellent aid for him to become confident with assembling the puzzle the first time without being overwhelmed at choosing the correct piece. Third, It actually added additional skill practice as we laid the pieces on top of the template and he could look at the picture to see which piece was missing. The visual discrimination practice it provided was excellent. Lastly, the picture itself had enough detail for him to identify the map components we were looking for without being too busy to overwhelm him or make it hard to see what he was looking for. And he very much enjoyed studying and talking about the animals.
