What's Covered in Each Grade (Tiny Tots Through High School)

Trying to figure out what your 3rd grader will actually be learning this year—or whether your 7th grader is ready to jump in? Below is our complete grade-by-grade breakdown showing exactly which subjects and topics are covered in each Timberdoodle curriculum kit, from Tiny Tots through 12th grade.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Our kits are organized by individual grade levels (not grade ranges), allowing you to see precisely what we recommend for kindergarten, 4th grade, 9th grade, and so on.

Basic, Complete, and Elite kits build on each other. Basic covers the essentials (math, language arts, critical thinking). Complete adds science, history, geography, and more hands-on activities. Elite includes everything in Complete, plus additional art, STEM projects, and enrichment resources.

Classic vs. Nonreligious kits cover the same subjects. Classic kits include some faith-based content (usually in history, sometimes in science or literature), while Nonreligious kits use charter-school-approved alternatives. Use the filters below to see exactly what your child will cover.

Every child is different. If your 5th grader is working ahead in math or your 10th grader needs extra support in writing, that's the beauty of homeschooling—everyone moves at their own pace. Customize any kit to fit your student.
