How to Use A Reason for Handwriting: Pre-K Letter Introduction
- Start with the pre-writing dexterity pages. The first 24 pages of tracing and cutting exercises build the hand control your child needs before he starts forming letters.
- Work through one lesson at a time. The 52 two-page lessons each cover one letter—a practice page paired with a coloring page. Lowercase letters come first, then uppercase.
- Pause for the review lessons as they appear. Nine reviews are built into the workbook to reinforce what your child has learned so far. Four more cumulative reviews wrap up the year.
- Set a pace that fits your child. Completing two or three lessons per week will wrap up the book in a school year, but you can move faster or slower as needed.
